This one is for my friend Kim. It's her birthday today. She's an entomologist and so, while probably overused and she's probably tired of getting bug things, the theme still works. Here is one dung beetle giving another dung beetle a birthday present.
Happy Birthday, Kim!

Thank you for all your templates...
I like bug girls comment! Too funny. So I suppose bug people are happy to get bugs, it's very cute until you called it a dung beetle then it kind of lost it's appeal. I was thinking of them as elongated lady bugs....much more pleasant!
That is so cute and really unique! Dung Beetles used to be my favorite computer game to play when I was little, way back in the Apple 2e days. Thanks so much for the template, I'll be linking.
My brian is now singing a variation on that Sesame Street song about the Ladybug Picnic -- the Dungbeetle Birthday.
If the ancient Egyptians worshipped dung beetles, then it makes perfect sense to make pretty art with them. Quite lovely, as dung goes.
Your paper cuttings are wonderful. I have always been in love with silhouettes since I was a child...and paper chains on the Christmas tree. When I was introduced to scherenschnitte, I was in heaven. (I love paper!) I just posted one on my blog that I did years ago and happened to come across your blog. What a delight! And yes! Thank you for posting your templates. I have been wanting to pick up my little scissors and black paper for a long long time.
