Flowers for Claire

A long time ago Claire commissioned me to make some flowers for her and because I'm so on top of things, I've finally gotten around to it a year later. I don't know if this is what she had in mind, but they are scherenschnitte of flowers from her sister's garden. If you don't like them, Claire, no purchase necessary. I really like how the Columbines turned out.

before you go and number your fans based on how many comments there are, just know that i think the rest of us are in so much awe, we just don't know what to say.

Brooklyn, I will take that into account.

Kim, you might need to work harder at being my number one fan now.

This is generally what happens:
You tell me what you want, I say, "Oh! I would love to make that for you!" and then, throughout the year, the procrastination demons in my head will keep scratching at my brain until finally I complete the project and you probably don't want it anymore. Unless you are a guy I have a crush on and haven't really requested one and then I'll make one for you in less than a week. I wish I were more proactive. I'm going to go watch BSG now.

Cindy, You are so incredibly talented! I found your website from Keith Paugh's blog and recognized you from Linkup too. What a small world. Anyways... I have long been an admirer of your design work. I'm a graphic designer and wannabe scherenschnitte artist as well! I just thought I'd leave a little not letting you know you have a fan in Los Angeles as well!!! You need to have a gallery showing of your work, I think people would LOVE it!

Cindy~
I remember you mentioning a good printer to work with in Utah. Do you share such valuable information? I'm getting married in November--- and would totally do my announcements through Invite Delight, but my own sister is a graphic designer!

You're probably the 4th person I know who is "starting over" in Utah within the last 3 months. Best of luck to you!
