I looked at a lot of old masters in referencing this image and in pretty much all of them, we see Eve handing Adam the apple. I decided to give Adam a little agency in my image. I placed a lamb in the arm of Eve since, as the mother of all living, through her lineage comes the Savior who redeems us from the Fall.
Here I will now do something tacky. This images is available on my etsy site along with prints of Red Riding Hood. Woot!

e.r.richards, thanks! Yep, that's 5 for $7.50. The cards aren't actual papercuts though, just prints that look like papercuts.
so, how long does it take you to actually complete you cuts from start to finish? your work portrays great perspective and insight- whether they are biblical cuts or otherwise. love the details. oh, and when i did the squirrel, i DID think of you. (insert giggle)

hi! i love you! at first glance, i thought that it was a dog next to adam and thought that would be clever to have a man's best friend next to him. although not historical, it would have portrayed my little family pre-ocean days. anyways, you are wonderful!
I like how Eve is about to crush the serpent's head. There's always meaningful details in your papercuts when you zoom in... I'm with Eve -- anyone who tickles my feet with their snakey tongue gets their head crushed, no questions asked.
