So on September 25th, I'm going to be hosting an Oktoberfest party at my house and for the invite, I thought I'd do a little papercut of a cuckoo clock. I'm going to see if my mom will send me her dirndl for the party. I don't know if I'll fit into it though. No eating for a few weeks. It's kind of fitting to make a scherenschnitt for a little Oktoberfest party, no?
Just darling Cindy! I just love fall and an Oktoberfest party sounds like fun. Beautiful work, as usual. If I got an invitation that looked like that, I'd probably frame it! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh ! it's wonderful, a typical clock from swizerland...i love it.

ReplyDeleteI am continuously amazed at what an amazing artist you are. This is amazing. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love Octoberfest!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this papercut!!! I have followed your work on and off for over a year now... I don't think I've commented before. I am doing a drawing with an ode to scherenschnitte and I decided to look you up again! You and Rob Ryan are my favorite papercut artists! You should design fabric too... I love the graphic look of it on fabric!
